play Yourself, find Solutions

Why playing is relevant to your life and what happens exactly when you are playful and let yourself free to explore with curiosity.

According to Wiki, play is a range of intrinsically motivated activities done for recreational pleasure and enjoyment very important for human development.

Let’s look at a couple of simple effects when it comes to play.

your Mind get relaxed

your spirit is full of joy

you are courageous to try new experiences

‘In play a child is always above his average age, above his daily behaviour, in play, it’s as though he were a head taller than himself” (Lev Vygostsky)

you are fully present in the moment

you always have fun when you play with others

Play instantly engages you in the process

you discover your freedom to choose your own rules

you go back to childhood when everything was possible! it’s still possible if you set your mind so 🙂

“Summing up the formal characteristic of play, we might call it a free activity standing quite consciously outside ‘ordinary’ life as being ‘not serious’ but at the same time absorbing the player intensely and utterly.” (Johan Huizinga)

it sets your Experimental mode

play brings you closer to your true emotions,

to your authentic self

while playing you get disconnected for a while from your serious-adult mode. And it’s so releasing…

When you play, you Focus

Awakens the Explorer in you

You connect with other Kids (playful spirits like you)

You are open to take risks, to jump into the water

When we play and are engaged in the process we forget about what is not possible, our fears, projections, misconceptions, and all the things that sabotage our happiness.

When our minds and heart are in the non-fight, non-survival or non-competitive mode, they can create solutions very easily without us forcing anything.

If you would like to explore how to turn play into a creative process that brings you ideas and solutions I invite you to join our next creative thinking online event when we will play few hours, as adults in a meaningful and interactive way.
